Our store directory is built from open data. We combine, deduplicate and clean it, and we credit every source as its license requires.

OpenStreetMap

Overture Maps Foundation

Places data from the Overture Maps Foundation (release 2026-10-21.0), licensed under the Community Data License Agreement – Permissive 2.0. Overture Places incorporates data from Meta, Microsoft, AllThePlaces (CC0) and other contributors. See Overture’s attribution page.

Foursquare Open Source Places

Foursquare Open Source Places (release 2025-02-06), © Foursquare Labs, Inc., licensed under the Apache License 2.0. We changed this data: we filtered it to auto parts categories, matched it to other sources and removed duplicates.

U.S. Census Bureau

ZIP code (ZCTA) and place centroids come from U.S. Census Bureau Gazetteer files (public domain). This product uses Census Bureau data but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau.

How we combine the data

We match the same store across sources by brand, name, location, phone and street address, keep one listing, and only fill in missing fields such as address, phone or website. We skip records marked closed, outdated chain records, and non-parts businesses such as repair shops and tire dealers. Each store page lists the sources used for that listing.

License of our combined database (ODbL)

Because our combined store database contains OpenStreetMap data, the database is licensed under the ODbL 1.0, and the pages of this site are a “Produced Work” of it. You can get a machine-readable copy of the database (CSV/SQLite) for free by emailing info@autopartsnearme.com. If you reuse it, keep the attributions above and share any adapted database under the ODbL.
