Terms of use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and AutoPartsNearMe.com (“we”, “us”) for your use of AutoPartsNearMe.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. Listings are information only

Store listings, hours, phone numbers, distances and guides are provided for general information. They come largely from open datasets and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. We don’t guarantee that any store exists, is open, has a part in stock, or charges any price. Always confirm with the store before you travel. Distances are straight-line estimates, not driving distances. Guides are general information, not professional repair or safety advice. Working on vehicles can be dangerous, so follow the manufacturer’s procedures and use proper safety equipment. We don’t sell parts and aren’t a party to any transaction between you and a store or seller.

2. No affiliation; trademarks

AutoPartsNearMe.com is an independent directory. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by AutoZone, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, Carquest, Pep Boys or any other retailer, manufacturer or salvage yard listed, unless a listing is clearly labeled “Featured”, and even then a Featured placement is not an endorsement. All trademarks, logos and brand names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the businesses listed (nominative fair use).

3. Acceptable use

Don’t: use the Site unlawfully; send false, misleading or spam submissions; impersonate a business or person; try to disrupt, overload or get unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; or bypass rate limits or security measures. Automated access must respect robots.txt and a reasonable request rate. The store database is available under the ODbL (see section 7), so to reuse it at scale please request a copy rather than crawling the Site.

4. Your submissions

When you submit a claim, correction, quote request or other content (“Submissions”), you confirm that it’s accurate, that you have the right to submit it, and, for business listings, that you’re authorized to act for that business. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable license to use, copy, edit, publish, and distribute business-listing information in your Submissions, including as part of our store database, which is published under the Open Database License. Personal information in Submissions is handled under our Privacy policy, and this license doesn’t let us publish your personal contact details. We may verify, edit or decline any Submission.

Featured (paid) listings are not currently offered. If we launch them, pricing, billing, renewal and refund terms will be posted here and shown at purchase before any sale. Paid Featured listings, once offered, will be covered by these Terms and any order terms shown at purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Featured listings are always labeled “Featured”, don’t change straight-line distances, and may be removed if the business provides inaccurate information or breaches these Terms.

6. Third-party links and affiliates

The Site links to other websites, including retailers, map services and affiliate partners. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products, prices, availability or privacy practices. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission. 7. Map data licenses

Store data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL 1.0), Overture Maps Foundation (CDLA-Permissive-2.0) and Foursquare Labs, Inc. (Apache-2.0). Because the combined store database includes OpenStreetMap data, the database is made available under the Open Database License 1.0. If you reuse it, you must follow the ODbL and keep the attributions. Full details: Data sources & attribution.

8. Our content

Apart from the open data above, the Site’s design, text, guides, graphics and code are © 2026 AutoPartsNearMe.com and may not be copied or republished without permission, except for short quotations with a link back.

9. Copyright (DMCA) and takedowns

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@autopartsnearme.com with: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the URL of the material you claim infringes; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act for the owner.

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. For trademark concerns, incorrect listings or removal of a business listing, use our listing corrections & removal process.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNERS, CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS WON’T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, TIME OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE, INCLUDING A WASTED TRIP, A WRONG PART, OR DEALINGS WITH ANY STORE, SELLER OR THIRD-PARTY SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law allows.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Site.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

14. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept it. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term isn’t a waiver. These Terms and the policies they link to are the entire agreement about the Site. Contact: info@autopartsnearme.com.
